American tennis player Jared Donaldson completely lost his rag in a heated confrontation with umpire Arnaut Gabas in his Monto Carlo Masters first-round match.
Down three games to two in the second set against Albert Ramos-Vinolas, Gabas ruled that Ramos-Vinolas' shot had landed in, prompting a fiery response from Donaldson.
He screamed in the face of the umpire, which led to a court supervisor having to intervene.
Replays showed Donaldson was right, but he eventually lost in straight sets 6-3, 6-3. While he apologised to his opponent for the outburst, he refused to shake the umpire's hand.
Last year, Gabas suffered a fractured eye socket when a wayward Denis Shapovalov shot him in the face during Canada's Davis Cup tie with Great Britain.
