New Australian coach Justin Langer is facing a massive issue regarding David Warner, according to one veteran cricket journalist.

Robert Craddock believes if Australia welcome back David Warner, it could spark more conflict between the playing group because half of Australia's players "can't stand" the former vice-captain.

Warner was suspended for 12 months for his involvement in the ball-tampering scandal against South Africa in March.

Batsman Cameron Bancroft was caught on camera scuffing the match ball with sandpaper during the third test against the Proteas, which led to massive off-field drama.

As a result, captain Steve Smith, vice-captain Warner were suspended for 12 months while Bancroft will sit out for nine months for his involvement.

Langer has vowed to change to the culture of Cricket Australia, and he also said he would welcome all three players back to the team, but bringing back Warner might not be a good move.

"For me, his biggest issue is David Warner," Craddock told SEN's Whateley on Monday afternoon.

"Langer wants mateship in the team, and I don't believe mateship and Warner are compatible.

"Because of half the players can't stand him; they contacted Cricket Australia saying they didn't want to play with him again.

"Now they should have no choice in that, it's not their decision, but that's the vibe.

"If he wants cultural shift how do you have cultural shift and Warner in the same team? That's my question.

"A lot of people believe that if you took Warner out of the team, guess what? All your behavioural problems are solved, aren't they?

"Who are the other troublemakers in the team? Is there another one?"
