All Blacks duo Brodie Retallick and Nathan Harris have returned to the Chiefs' starting forward pack for this weekend's clash with the Stormers at Newlands on Sunday morning (NZ time).
The pair were named on the bench for last week's 23-19 loss to the Jaguares, but have been called back into the starting group, which has seen a reshuffle in the pack.
Lock Tyler Ardron will move to the No 8 jersey with Retallick's return at lock alongside Michael Allardice. Sam Cane will miss the match with an abdominal strain, and his place at flank will be filled by Luke Jacobson.
In the backline, both scrumhalf Brad Weber and centre Anton Lienert-Brown will start their 50th game for the Chiefs, while Johnny Faauli returns to partner Lienert-Brown in the midfield.
Coach Colin Cooper is as determined as ever to bounce back from last week's loss.
"We took a lot of learnings from the Jaguares, particularly on our attack," he said.
"We know what to expect from the Stormers, and have been focussed this week. The team travelled smoothly and have come over here wanting to do really well.
Charlie Ngatai will captain the side.
Meanwhile, the Stormers have named an unchanged line-up from the squad that beat the Bulls last week.
The Stormers will be looking to make it six straight wins at Newlands this season, following victories against the Jaguares, Blues, Reds, Rebels and Bulls.
