Former heavyweight boxing world champion Tyson Fury has made a winning return to the ring.

The Englishman proved far too good for career cruiserweight Sefer Seferi at Manchester Arena, forcing the Albanian to throw in the towel before the start of the fifth round.

Fury utilised his seven inch height advantage, picking him off his opponent from distance and cruised to a comfortable, yet unconvincing win.

"I'll have a world title by the end of the year," Fury said post fight.

"I learnt two and a half years is a long time, a thousand days, and I'm just very happy to be back.

"I will take my career very seriously this time, and not take anything for granted, and enjoy every moment."

Fury hasn't fought since claiming the IBF, WBA and WBO titles from Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015.
