Blackcaps quick bowler Matt Henry has proved he's no slouch in the field, after taking an out-field screamer in England on Sunday (NZ time).

Playing for English side Kent in the Royal London One-Day Cup semi-final, the seamer motored across the turf and stretched out to pluck a diving one-handed catch, managing to keep the ball secure, despite his arm hitting the deck hard.

It proved to be a critical wicket in the context of the match, dismissing Worcestershire dangerman Brett D'Oliveira for 78.

Worcestershire still managed to post a challenging total of 306/6, which Henry's side chased down with just two balls to spare.

The 26-year-old Cantabrian failed to make much impact at the bowling crease himself, managing just 1/60 from his allotted 10 overs.

His Kent side now progress to face the winners of Hampshire and Yorkshire in the final at Lords on June 30.
