Kiwi golfer Lydia Ko has finished third at the latest LPGA event in Michigan after a superb final round.
The 21-year-old started the final round tied for eighth, but Ko shot six birdies and one bogey to finish on 18 under for the tournament, three shots behind the winner South Korea's So Yeon Ryu.
Germany's Caroline Masson was second on 19 under.
Ko was satisfied with her performance at the Blythefield Country Club
"I don't remember this course being this easy, and I don't think it was easy, but it just shows the amount of talent that's on our tour," Ko said, "It's just good to have a great week. This is a tournament I really love playing."
The next LPGA event takes place this weekend at the Pinnacle Country Club in Arkansas.
