FULLTIME: HURRICANES 12 - 24 BRUMBIES
80mins: Brumbies looking to close it out now, not wanting to give up the ball, taking it up the middle through their forwards. They're eventually penalised and the Canes tap. West knocks on and that's fulltime! What an upset.
78mins: BRUMBIES TRY - MUIRHEAD: Brumbies put the shove in, win the advantage, Lucas sees Muirhead out wide, fires a long, cutout pass and the winger is in for the game-sealing try. What a terrible performance from the Canes, but congrats to the Brumbies, they've put in a shift tonight.
76mins: Brumbies have the scrum just five metres out and win a free-kick before calling for another pack down. Hurricanes have it all to do with just four minutes remaining. They need good defence, followed by better offence.
73mins: Hurricanes win the penalty and Perenara takes the tap inside his own 22m! He gives it to Savea and he's got open space ahead of him but Muirhead does enough to bring him to ground. Brumbies holding up on defence and turn it over. Lucas puts Muirhead through a hole! He steps Barrett, looks certain to score, but Goosen and Barrett comebine to wrap him up and hold him up. What defence.
70mins: Laumape again attacks the line before West puts up the bomb and Godwin goes up to get it and he's through! He spots space, puts the kick ahead, gets the bounce and dives but Perenara knocks the ball out of his reaching arm and it's no try! What a try-saver from TJ.
68mins: Brumbies win the lineout and drive. They break for Speight to have a run but he looses his footing. They've gone back about 15 metres before knocking on.
66mins: Brumbies' throw at the lineout is too strong and Riccitelli dives on the loose ball. Barrett offloads to Savea to have a run. Hurricanes building steadily but there's a loose pass and Godwin comes up with it before they kick and force West into touch.
64mins: Fainga'a has a run from the lineout win and makes good metres. Brumbies up inside the Canes 22m now. Leuluaialii-Makin is too upright though in his run and a maul is called before they come down for a Canes scrum.
62mins: Hurricanes get the ball back from their own scrum and go through Laumape. He beats one and has them on the front foot just like that. However, Evans is penalised for a neck-roll on Pocock.
60mins: Hurricanes win the lineout through Fatialofa and drive. It's not going anywhere, the Brumbies get to the ball carrier and latch onto him to force the turnover for the scrum. Hurricanes look to have the advantage at the scrum but concede the penalty.
58mins: Thomson goes high in the tackle and he's shown the yellow card. Brumbies win the lineout through Enever. Lealiifano tries the grubber but it's a poor one. Milner-Skudder tries to send it long, fluffs it and the Hurricanes concede the penalty for being offside. They try go to Fainga'a on the short side but he's tackled into touch.
54mins: BRUMBIES TRY - ARNOLD: Arnold wins the lineout and the Brumbies maul. They're getting a move on before breaking away. Arnold has a crack and reaches for the try line and he's over! Brumbies hit the front.
52mins: Hurricanes rushing on defence and are forcing the Brumbies back. Muirhead is put into a hole and he's away! He links up with Powell but he's tackled just five out from the try line before losing it.
50mins: Ball's come free for Barrett and he's away down the right-hand touchline! He's finally cut down as his offload is knocked on by Perenara. Brumbies give it straight back but the Canes knock on. Brumbies then demolish the Canes pack to win the penalty.
48mins: Fainga'a breaks away from the maul and he's away down the left wing! The hooker sprints 20 metres, offloads to Powell and he puts the kick through for his chasers but the Hurricanes get back to force the drop out.
47mins: Leallifano tries another kick and Milner-Skudder takes it in, beats the tackle of Speight, beats another and is finally tackled just outside the Brumbies 22m. Lousi has a run, holds the ball up brilliantly, offloads to Barrett, he gives it to Milner-Skudder and the winger dives in the corner but his boot just went out!
45mins: Cusack takes in the restart and Arnold puts Mayhew through a hole with a nice little pass. Lealiifano tries the cross-kick for Speight and Lam does well to make the spot tackle.
43mins: BRUMBIES TRY - FAINGA'A: Enever gets up to win the lineout and the Brumbies get behind him and drive. They're just a metre out and have the advantage. They're picking and going, and it's Fainga'a who crashes over for the try.
41mins: We're back underway and Lam makes a meal of the restart, knocking it on with nobody around him. Lousi tackles a player without the ball and is penalised.
HALFTIME: HURRICANES 12 - 5 BRUMBIES
40mins: Hurricanes try to run it out of their own 22m and find success through Laumape as he bumps off Powell before offloading to Prinsep. Hurricanes get it back from the lineout and Perenara's box kick is taken in nicely by Speight to have a surge. They try the grubber but Milner-Skudder is there and kicks it out for halftime.
38mins: Brumbies win the lineout through Cusack at the back before Kuridrani attacks the line. Arnold has a crack and they're just short of the try line. Naisarani tries his luck and could be over but we'll go upstairs. He's short and then lost it, so Hurricanes scrum.
36mins: Banks makes good metres up the middle before Pocock puts Prinsep on his bum with a strong run. Brumbies finding success directly and they win the penalty.
34mins: Savea takes the quick throw for Garden-Bachop to have a crack at the line. Evans spots space behind the defence and kicks it along the ground for a Brumbies lineout on their own 22m.
32mins: Lousi wins the lineout and the Canes maul! They're making steady progress but Perenara breaks away only for his pass to be knocked on by Savea. Caught him off guard it seems.
30mins: Mayhew conceds the free-kick at the scrum and the Hurricanes want another crack at the Brumbies front row. They pile the pressure on and are awarded the penalty.
28mins: Kuridrani has a run from the lineout move but Banks knocks on from Mayhew's pass. Pocock has a crack at the ball but he leaves his feet and is penalised.
26mins: Garden-Bachop sees the Brumbies rush on defence, so attacks the line, beating a couple. They go left to Lam and he puts the kick through but it goes almost directly into touch. Barrett is penalised shortly after for tackling high.
24mins: Hurricanes pile the pressure on at the scrum and win the penalty. Smith gets a few pats on the back from his teammates. Hurricanes win the lineout but it's unplayable, so it'll be a scrum to the visitors.
22mins: Brumbies back on attack and Arnold is through a huge hole up the middle! The big lock's pumping the legs but Barrett cuts him down with a great tackle. Ball comes loose at the ruck and we're checking with the TMO for potential foul play. No foul so it'll be a Canes scrum.
20mins: Barrett again throws the cut out pass to Savea but Muirhead is up to the challenge and wraps him around the legs, forcing him out. Great effort from the little winger.
18mins: Savea tries rushing out on defence but the ball beats him and the Brumbies find space on his wing. Barrett is penalised for not rolling away at the breakdown and ref gives them an official warning.
16mins: HURRICANES TRY - SAVEA: Garden-Bachop beats one tckle before Toomaga-Allen has a burst. Hurricanes inside the Brumbies 22m now. Barrett sees Savea out wide, throws the long cutout pass and the 'Bus' steps one before taking another with him over the line for the try.
14mins: Milner-Skudder is all alone, spots space behind the defence so he tries the chip kick, Muirhead gets back and is tackled into touch.
12mins: Cusack takes in the restart and Godwin almost ghosts through the defence but Barrett makes a great tackle. Lealiifano tries going long with the kick but it's out on the full.
10mins: BRUMBIES TRY - GODWIN: Brumbies drive once more before giving it to Kuridrani and he takes them up to the five metre line. Powell throws the dummy and he's tackled hard. There's numbers out wide, they put it through the hands and Godwin is over for the try on the right. Looked easy in the end.
8mins: Brumbies drive from the lineout win and they're making steady progress. Cusack finally breaks and they're just five metres out. Hurricanes pinged for not releasing and we'll have another lineout.
7mins: Brumbioes have it inside the Hurricanes half as they look to build through the middle. Naisarani has a crack and the Brumbies are awareded the penalty. Banks finds touch about 10 out for the lineout.
5mins: HURRICANES TRY - PERENARA: Cusack wins the lineout, gives it to Powell and he fires it to Perenara! Oh my! The halfback plucked the ball in mid-air, as if he were Jonty Rhodes and dots down for the try. Incredible stuff.
3mins: Laumape has a charge from the scrum but is well contained. Hurricanes taking it up through their forwards before going wide to Lam, he's tough to bring down but the Brumbies eventually send him over the sideline.
1mins: Garden-Bachop gets us underway and Speight takes in the restart. Brumbies try and go wide but there's a little knock on at the breakdown. Great chance for the Canes first up.
9:45pm: Interested to see how Garden-Bachop goes in a rare chance to start in a Hurricanes jumper. Just moments away now!
9:43pm: Players making their way out now. Here's hoping the Brumbies can put up bit of a fight and make it interesting. Hurricanes are sure-fire favourites.

Pre-match banter: Beauden Barrett to miss Hurricanes clash against Brumbies
The Hurricanes will be without four international players for their penultimate Super Rugby regular season game against Brumbies in Canberra.
First-five Beauden Barrett, along with the loose forward trio of Ardie Savea, Vaea Fifita and Brad Shields, have been left out of the Canes squad for the clash at GIO Stadium.
Barrett, Savea and Fifita all suffered injuries during the All Blacks' test series against France, while Shields missed England’s final test against South Africa through illness.
The regular Hurricanes skipper made his international debut for England during the Springboks series.
Barrett and Fifita both missed the third test against France with concussion.
"Both finished their concussions protocols today," says Hurricanes coach Chris Boyd. "Vaea has had two concussions in reasonably short succession, so we're being really cautious around him.
"Beaudie's fine really. He could have played, but it's his standown week and we always anticipated that, given we assumed he would have a reasonably high workload with the All Blacks.
"It's just a week for him to freshen up."
Savea is expected to miss "a few weeks" with the high ankle sprain suffered against the French in Dunedin last weekend
Jackson Garden-Bachop starts at 10 in the absence of Barrett, while TJ Perenara fills the captaincy role for the match. Shields lost 7kg in three days through his illness and was hospitalised with dehydration.
"I had a discussion with him while he was in Africa and told him we wouldn't take him to Canberra," says Boyd. "As you'd expect, he wasn't very happy about that, but he knows it's best for the team."
Reed Prinsep, Sam Henwood and Gareth Evans all start in the loose forwards. All Blacks fullback Jordie Barrett will fill the centre position.
