Team New Zealand teammates Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have been forced to race against one another in an Opti race in the Netherlands.
According to Tuke, it has been four years since the friends were foes and this race wasn't worth missing.
Both started well as Tuke led early in the encounter. Burling comically tried grabbing onto his opponent's boat to get an advantage.
He took that advantage and went onto the win the race with ease. To add to insult to injury, Tuke fell off his boat when he crossed the line.
"He made some dirty tactics to get back into the race," Tuke said afterwards.
"I let him off the hook, but it is all for fun.
"He [Burling] would do anything to win."
Tuke then showed off his rugby skills by tackling Burling into the water.
