England are counting down to one of the biggest matches in their its history in Thursday's (NZ time) Football World Cup semi-final against Croatia.

What better way to relieve some tension than to chuck a rubber chicken around?

Captain Harry Kane and his charges were spotted hurling the fake fowl about the training pitch in some form of the game 'tag' and 'avin a right old laugh.

The weight of a nation hanging on their shoulders doesn’t appear to have fazed the side, who have often spoken about the exceptional unity and team spirit that exists within the squad.

France are lying in wait for the winners, after their 1-0 semi-final victory over Belgium on Wednesday.
