One audacious Kiwi football fan will have a keener interest than most in tonight's football World Cup final between France and Croatia.
The TAB tweeted this evening that they'd taken a $100,000 (NZD) bet for France to beat Croatia within 90 minutes.
France are paying $1.90 to win the final in regular time, meaning the bet would return a profit of $90,000 if it comes through.
Croatia are paying $4.50 to win the match in 90 minutes.
If France win it'll be just the second time ever they've lifted the trophy and first since 1998, while Croatia are aiming for their first ever World Cup title.
The final kicks off at 3am NZT.
