France have been crowned champions of the football world - but not without controversy.
Referee Nestor Pistana has been slammed for awarding France a VAR (Video Assistant Referee) penalty in the first half.
But the two-goal margn was convincing enough for the French, who dominated a key 10-minute period of the second-half to stretch their lead to three goals.
