NRL: Warriors Adam Blair faces suspension, Cameron Smith escapes sanctioning

The Warriors could be without Adam Blair for their trip to the Gold Coast this weekend.

The 32-year-old has been charged by the Match Review Committee for a late tackle on Melbourne Storm forward Kenny Bromwich.

Blair will miss the match against the Titans if he submits an early guilty plea, however if he decides to contest the charge and is found guilty, he will miss the following week's clash with the St George Dragons.

The news comes as a bitter blow to the Auckland club who were pipped by the Melbourne Storm on Sunday 12-6.

Storm hooker Cameron Smith drew the wrath of the My Smart faithful with a high tackle on Warriors winger Ken Maumalo, a tackle deemed fair by the referee.

Smith's tackle was reviewed but the MRC decided it wasn't a chargeable offence.
