NRL: Warriors lose half Blake Green for clash against Melbourne Storm

The Warriors will be without one of the key components of their spine for Sunday's match against the Melbourne Storm.

Half Blake Green will play no part in the contest against the reigning NRL premiers at Mt. Smart Stadium after succumbing to a rib complaint.

Mason Lino will step up to partner Shaun Johnson in the halves for his sixth appearance of the season. He last played in the 24-14 win over the Eels in round 11.

Centre Peta Hiku has also been ruled out of the game with a hand injury.

Both Hiku and Green are expected to be back in action next week against the Titans.
