The first Kiwi league great has been selected to join the NRL Hall of Fame.

Former North Sydney Bears back-rower and New Zealand Player of the 20th Century Mark Graham has been selected to join the original list of 100 greats.

Ricky Stuart, Petero Civoniceva, Gorden Tallis, Steve Menzies and Cliff Lyons are the others who will be formally inducted at a ceremony at the Sydney Cricket Ground on August 1.

Up to two new 'Immortals' will also be announced and inducted as part of the gala.

Graham played 145 games for the Bears across seven seasons in the NSW Rugby League competition, scoring 29 tries. He also captained the side.

Graham represented the Kiwis 28 times through an 11-year span and was one of the original inductees to the New Zealand Rugby League Hall of Fame.

He later coached the Warriors for two seasons in 1999 and 2000.

Between the other five inductees there was a total of 1393 premiership matches, 123 Tests and 90 State of Origins played - as well as 12 premierships won.
