The American works as a pitching coach in the Texas Rangers minor league system with the Down East Wood Ducks.

The Tuatara's preferred home base at Albany's QBE Stadium won't be ready until the 2019/2020 season, meaning the club will host their 12 home games at Te Atatu’s McLeod Park.

The first home series will be against the Brisbane Bandits from November 22, while the club kicks off its inaugural season in Perth against the hometown Heat on November 15.
