Tall Blacks guard Corey Webster has hit out at Basketball New Zealand in a bid to lure NBA star Steven Adams into the national fold.
Despite Adams' outstanding six-year stint with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the 25-year-old is yet to step on the court for New Zealand.
Adams has cited several reasons for his decision to opt out of national selection, including a decade-long grudge against the former hierarchy of Basketball New Zealand.

Webster, who has had his fair share of problems - including two drug suspensions - during his career, has taken to social media as a call to arms directed at the OKC centre.
"Totally understand why the bro @RealStevenAdams feels the way he does about Basketball NZ. Seems like they do nothing to help us. But as a player in the TBs, WE NEED YOU BROTHER!!!," Webster wrote.
Webster, 29, is currently completing a playing stint in China, before he moves back home, after re-joining the New Zealand Breakers for the upcoming NBL season.
