Kiwi rugby league legend Ruben Wiki continues to perform under the bright lights - but this time, he's traded the boots for baby oil.
The 45-year-old competed in his first bodybuilding competition yesterday, placing second in the novice physique division as part of the Auckland National Amateur Body-Builders' Association (NABBA).
Wiki's six-month journey starting in February saw him drop eight kilograms, tipping the scale at a lean, mean 90kg and 3 percent body fat for the show.
The New Zealand Warriors and Canberra Raiders great shared a picture on his Instagram of his chiselled physique, expressing gratitude for all those involved in the lead-up.
"I had sooooooo much fun and so glad my family were there to cheer me on," he wrote in an Instagram post.
"MASSIVE GRATITUDES to some pretty AWESOME people that assisted throughout the 6 months journey," Wiki said.
"We all live busy lives and to get this far I'm so grateful for their time."
