Namibia will join the All Blacks in Pool B at next year's Rugby World Cup after thrashing Kenya 53-28 in their Africa Gold Cup match in Windhoek on Saturday (Sunday NZ time).

The Namibians won all five of their qualifying matches and reached the World Cup in Japan as Africa winners.

First-five Cliven Loubser scored 22 points for the hosts, while Chrysander Botha and Louis van der Westhuizen scored two tries apiece, as Namibia ran in seven tries in all.

They join New Zealand, South Africa, Italy and a yet to be determined repechage winner in the group.

They have played in every Rugby World Cup since 1999 but have yet to win a game at the tournament, losing all 19 of their matches. At the last World Cup, they were in the same pool as New Zealand and lost 58-14.

Kenya, who are coached by New Zealander Ian Snook, finish second in the Africa Gold Cup, will now enter the repechage tournament where they will slug it out with Canada, Germany and Hong Kong for the final spot in Japan later in the year.
