Crooked Feed: Changes expected for All Blacks test against Argentina

The All Blacks are set to make changes to their 23-man squad to face Argentina in Buenos Aires on Sunday.

The All Blacks will be determined to bounce back from their shock 36-34 loss to South Africa in Wellington a fortnight ago.

Kieran Read is out, meaning Sam Whitelock will captain the team in his absence, with brother Luke expected to start at number eight.

Liam Squire is injured, so Shannon Frizell or Vaea Fifita will likely get the nod at blindside flanker.

Other expected changes include the return of Sonny Bill Williams in the midfield. He was meant to face the Springboks in Wellington, but was ruled out due to illness.

There is a good chance Waisake Naholo could come back onto the right wing, with Ben Smith at fullback and Rieko Ioane on the left.

Damian McKenzie won't feature, as he's returned to New Zealand due to a family bereavement.

The All Blacks will confirm their squad at 5pm (NZ time).
