New South Wales Police have cleared Wests Tigers league stars Josh Reynolds and Luke Brooks of any further action, after they were caught in a drugs raid in Sydney on Saturday night.

The joint-venture club contacted the NRL Integrity Unit regarding the matter over reports that they were under investigation as a result of a police search at an Inner West strip club.

In a statement release on Friday afternoon, the Tigers claimed the players were part of a larger group, when NSW Police arrived and searched the venue.

Police searched the group Reynolds and Brooks were with, and recorded their actions.

Both players remained at the venue after police left and neither have had further contact with the police.

Brooks was named Wests Player of the Year over the weekend.

Channel Seven reported that police drug dogs were involved in the raid. The players were found in a private room at the club and their conduct was under investigation.

But NSW Police have since released a statement clearing Reynolds and Brooks of further action.

"Two men, aged 29 and 23, were in attendance, but will not be subject to any police action regarding this operation."

Wests Tigers confirmed they were satisfied their players had no charges to answer.

"The club has contacted the NRL Integrity Unit regarding the matter to inform them. Wests Tigers will take no further action regarding this matter."

The incident occurred as NRL clubs that missed the playoffs - including the Tigers - prepared for their 'Mad Monday' end-of-season celebrations.

Canterbury Bulldogs hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons on Tuesday, as images of their function at a local nightclub were plastered across the back - and front - pages of newspapers.

The Daily Telegraph reported that Bulldogs players were naked and groping each other's genitals at the private function on Monday night.

Other photos showed a player vomiting in an alley near the bar.

"In regard to images from the team's get together on Monday, the club accepts that they were unacceptable and a poor reflection on the individuals involved and the club," the Bulldogs statement said.

"The players are aware of their responsibilities and the standards required when representing the club and yesterday's behaviour was unacceptable and a bad look for the game."
