Eden Park is offering a unique experience for up to 3000 amateur golfers to hit a hole-in-one from inside the sports stadium.

The ASB G9 sees a nine-hole golf course take over the famous sporting grounds from 3-10 November, transforming the 50,000-capactity venue.

Players will have the opportunity to tee off from nine different locations around Eden Park with a bonus challenge in the home team changing room.

While vying for one of the $50,000 worth of prizes up for grabs, teams of up to four will also go for a hole-in-one to win the coveted ASB G9 Yellow Jacket.

Teams of up to four people will have 90 minutes to complete the nine-hole, par three course.

Eden Park CEO Nick Sautner said it was a priority to be growing the event calendar to ensure a diverse range of events for everyone to enjoy.

"One of the challenges for stadia around the globe is underutilisation and Eden Park is no different.

"We are modernising our operations and targeting new audiences who may have never experienced Eden Park previously."

He said they were delighted to be bringing to life the unique golf experience for a second year.

Ladies' Day on November 10 will feature treats including Mumm on arrival, live DJs, a pamper station, wine tastings and prizes for the best dressed on the course.
