Another Kiwi has been added to the UFC's upcoming visit to Adelaide, with Hamilton's Luke 'The Jedi' Jumeau set to face American Geoff Neal in a welterweight bout.

Jumeau, who has won two of his three UFC fights, is returning to the cage for the first time since February's decision win over Daichi Abe in Perth, where the 30-year-old suffered a broken hand.

Stuff reports Jumeau will fight Neal on the undercard the UFC Fight Night card on December 2, which also features the Octagon debut of Auckland's Kai Kara France and the likely final UFC fight for veteran heavyweight Mark Hunt.

Jumeau told Stuff that a positive result was crucial to his future, given this was the final fight on his current contract.

"I always approach every fight the same way – potentially, it could be my last.

"All the fights leading up to the UFC, every fight in the UFC, it's a cutthroat business, so I'm just going to go in there and give it my all," Jumeau said.

Jumeau's opponent is coming off a statement knockout win over the durable Frank Camacho in September, when he floored the 30-year-old with a vicious head kick.

Neal earned his contract on UFC President Dana White's Contender Series show and will arrive in Adelaide with a decent amount of hype behind him.

Jumeau told Stuff he was confident he had the defensive skills to negate Neal's offence, while offering a few problems himself.

The Hamilton native will spend the final few weeks of his training camp with the number one MMA gym in the country at City Kickboxing in Auckland.

The gym is the home of fellow UFC fighters Israel Adesanya, Dan Hooker, Shane Young and Kara France, as well as the new base for heavyweight boxing contender Junior Fa.
