The New Zealand Breakers let an 11-point final quarter lead slip, falling to the Perth Wildcats for the second time in three days.

After Friday's heartbreaking overtime loss in Auckland, the Breakers initially capitalised on a Wildcats side missing star import Bryce Cotton.

New Zealand came out on fire, netting the first 10-points, leading by 16 midway through the second quarter.

But the table-topping Wildcats refused to give up with import Terrico White nailing some key fourth-quarter baskets to run down the Breakers 91-86.

Jesse Wagstaff hit all 13 of his points for the game in the fourth quarter, Greg Hire had two points and five rebounds in the fourth term and then  White came up huge with two massive threes to end the night with 21 points, five rebounds and five assists.

The Breakers had a few standout performances themselves with Armani Moore playing his best game of the season, dropping 16-points on six for eight shooting.

Tai Wesley also chimed in for 16, adding seven rebounds while Tom Abercrombie's eight boards and 13-points almost saw his side home.

It's the seventh loss in 11 games for the season, leaving the Breakers out of the playoff spots and seven-games behind Perth who cemented their spot atop the standings.

Both teams now have several players in action for their countries over next week's FIBA international break before Perth is on the road to the Sydney King son Thursday, December 6.

New Zealand hosts the Kings two days later in their first game back.
