Parker vs Flores: Alexander Flores promises to knock-out Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker

American heavyweight boxer Alexander Flores predicts he will knock out Kiwi boxer Joseph Parker in their December 15 fight at Horncastle Arena in Christchurch.

The 28-year-old boxer said Parker is lacking fitness, evident in his last fight.

"I can tell you one thing he does get tired, the fight with Whyte showed that. How are you a world champion and look sloppy like that? He said.

"I just hope he's been getting up and doing his running."

Flores boasts a record of 15 wins and one loss and he is promising he will do something nobody has ever done.

"It's definitely not going to go 10-12 rounds", he said.

"Whatever happens, Joseph Parker is going to get stopped no doubt.

"He's either not coming off the stool or he's not getting up."

The Mexican American said although the fight will be in New Zealand the crowd won't be able to help Parker win.

"I know I'm going into his territory, at the end of the day it's just me and him in the ring.

"The only people who can help him will be the judges, but this fight isn't going to go 10 rounds I guarantee it."

Flores said the 26-year-old from South Auckland is just another fighter standing in the way of his goal.

"I have my dreams too, I want to be the first Mexican heavyweight champion of the world.

"I'm just hungry to fight, I should be in the top 10 or top 5 and the person standing in the way is Joseph Parker."

Flores' trainer Mike Love said the heavyweight is in the best shape of his life and is enjoying fighting out of the south-west due to its plethora of talent.

"Right now in Southern California we have the top heavyweights in the world, Love said.

"I know down there we have everybody at our fingertips."
