ENGLAND 0-34 KIWIS

FULLTIME - What a way to end the year for the Kiwis. New Zealand has finally beaten England in 2018. It took four games, but they finally pulled it off. Despite the loss, England win the Baskerville Shield series 2-1.

78mins - Isaiah Papali'i does his best to score a try in his debut, but he is flipped over into touch.

77mins - Penalty to New Zealand right in front. They'e hungry and want to score 40.

76mins - Another drop-out to England. Can the Kiwis score one more.

75mins - The conversion goes over, but it wasn't Johnson kicking it, or Jamayne Isaako, or Esan Marsters. Debutant Isaiah Papali'i kicks the goal.

73mins - TRY KIWIS - Joseph Tapine scores under the posts. He carries two defenders over the line to score another try for New Zealand.

73mins - Penalty to New Zealand right in front of the posts after Jonny Lomax kicks the ball out on the full.

72mins - The Kiwis are already 10m out from the line on the last tackle, and Johnson's kick sits up well and there will be another drop-out.

71mins - Johnson kicks the conversion and the Kiwis now lead 28-0.

70mins - TRY KIWIS - Jesse Bromwich goes in under the posts. Kodi Nikorima
draws in the defenders and he passes it off to his rampaging prop.

69mins - YELLOW CARD ENGLAND - New Zealand win a penalty on the second tackle after Maumalo made a break down the wing and Jermaine McGillvary slows the play-the-ball down with the Kiwis on the front foot.

67mins -  The Kiwis kick for Maumalo again, but this time, he is contested in the air and the ball goes into touch. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves returns for the Kiwis.

66mins - Kiwis have a scrum 10 out from the line. Can they put the icing on the cake here?

65mins - Shaun Johnson puts in a kick on the fifth tackle, he holds up perfectly, and Jonny Lomax is trapped in-goal. It will be a drop-out. Perfect kick by Shaun Johnson.

64mins - Penalty to the Kiwis now, as a Mexican wave starts at Elland Road.

62mins - Jermaine McGillvary makes another break on the first tackle and carries the ball inside New Zealand's half. Oliver Gildart backs that up with a strong carry of his own.

60mins - Inside the final quarter of the match. The Kiwis have held England scoreless, but are down a player.

59mins - The Kiwis hold off the England onslaught and they now work their way towards the halfway line. Shaun Johnson kicks the ball into touch as the ball bounces out 10m from the England line.

57mins - YELLOW CARD KIWIS - Jared Waerea-Hargreaves goes to the sin-bin for foul play. He dives on Josh Hodgson after he was held up short of the line. Unessesary by the prop and the Leeds crowd have found their voice. Can England come back from here?

55mins - England win a penalty and now they're close to the line, looking for their first try of the game.

54mins - A little fumble by England, gives New Zealand the ball inside their half. England were looking to score their first points of the game.

51mins - Joseph Tapine with a strong carry which gets New Zealand inside England's half. They then go attack down the left wing, but there was a forward pass to Maumalo which rules out the play.

49mins - Jermaine McGillvary goes on a big run, but the cover defence gets to the English winger, and he throws the ball back in-field, but it goes to Kodi Nikorima.

47mins - Great set to follow up that try by the Kiwis. They are running rampant right now.

45mins - Johnson's conversion hits the post and I think that is his first miss in the series. Kiwis lead 22-0.

44mins - TRY KIWIS - Ken Maumalo has his second try of the match. It was like watching Manu Vatuvei scoring. Kodi Nikorima kicks high to the wing of Maumalo and the winger soars through the air to catch the ball an score.

43mins - The match is turning into a real arm-wrestle now. England will be desparate to score early in the second half.

41mins - Standard first set to start the half by England. The Kiwis now have the ball.

40mins - The second half is underway in Leeds. New Zealand gets us started.

HALFTIME - What a great half by the Kiwis. They got off to a great start by scoring first and how built some great pressure. England had a couple of chances but the Kiwis have defended the goal-line to perfection.

40mins - Easy conversion for Johnson as the Kiwis now lead 18-0.

39mins - TRY KIWIS - Kodi Nikorima strikes just before the break  Kodi Nikorima strikes just before the break as he links up with his halves partner in Shaun Johnson. Great team try. Nikorima makes a break and finds Johnson who offloads the ball back to his halfback to score under the posts.

38mins - Kiwis back on the attack. They look like they want to score again just before the break.

36mins - Some desparate defence from England prevents another Kiwis try. Johnson is held up as he looks for an offload, or to put the ball down.

34mins - Easy conversion for Johnson and the Kiwis lead 12-0 with tries to Ken Maumalo and Isaac Liu.

33mins - TRY KIWIS - They can and Isaac Liu runs a perfect line to score under the posts, a great pass by Kodi Nikorima who puts the second-row forward through.

31mins - New Zealand will start their set on the halfway line. Can they apply some pressure here?

30mins - NO TRY ENGLAND - Jermaine McGillvary knocked the ball on so it is Kiwis ball.

29mins - Another TMO call here. Every possible try has gone to the TMO Phil Bentham. Oliver Gildart goes over, but I don't think I don't think it will be given as McGillvary has either dropped the ball or gone into touch.

28mins - England starting to build momentum right now as they force a drop-out.

27mins - Johnson with a cheeky grubber and it looks like the ball comes off Lomax so it should be a drop-out... Instead they say it came off NZ and England have a 20m tap.

26mins - The Kiwis get inside the England half quickly. They can put in a nice kick on the last.

25mins - Tommy Makinson makes a break down the wing, and he passes back in-field to Jonny Lomax, but I think it is Dallin Watene-Zelezniak makes a try-saving tackle. Two players later, England wins another penalty.

23mins - The Kiwis survive the England onslaught, and they have the ball.

21mins - Penalty to England and the Elland Road crowd applauds. Then another and another. So that is three in the space of 60 seconds.

20mins - A try to Kevin Proctor has been ruled out as Jamayne Isaako just had a part of his foot on the sideline. If he stayed in-play, that would have been special.

19mins - The Kiwis in the redzone. Johnson kicks to the wing on Ken Maumalo and he bats the ball like an AFL player and it comes off an England player so it is six more.

18mins - NO TRY ENGLAND - The try is ruled out due to obstruction earleir in the play.

18mins - On the next play, England go out to their left wing, and Golden Boot winner Tommy Makinson dives over in the corner. Wow, what a put-down that was. They are going to the TMO here. The grounding looks good to me.

17mins - England insdie the Kiwis 10, and Jermaine McGillvary is nearly pushed into touch, but he keeps the ball in-play with a flick back in-field.

15mins - Only 15 minutes in, and there are some Kiwis players with hands on hips. So with that, Kodi Nikorima decides to kick the ball into touch. New Zealand lead 6-0.

14mins - On the last, New Zealand is 40 out and Johnson kicks high again into the bread-basket of Tommy Makinson.

12mins - There are some smashing tackles by the Kiwis and they're very close to being high here. Adam Blair just destroyed Richie Myler. Similar to the one where he smashed Jason Nightingale.

11mins - But the Kiwis can't do anything with the ball as Liu drops the ball on the second tackle. England now hot to the attack.

10mins - Now the Kiwis win a penalty inside their 20 so they will kick for touch.

9mins - England win a penalty about 25 out from the line, so they take a tap and get play-back underway.  The crowd then boos as Jared Waerea-Hargreaves smashes Elliott Whitehead, but no penalty. Whitehead then tries to sneak over the line, but is held up.

7mins - The Kiwis create a nice opportunity but it comes to nothing. Isaac Liu runs a nice line and makes a break. He passes to Esan Masters, and he tries to find Maumalo but the ball is bobbled and the ball goes to ground.

6mins - Shaun Johnson kicks the conversion and the Kiwis lead 6-0.

6mins - TRY KIWIS - The TMO pushes the green button and New Zealand hit the lead early in Leeds.

5mins - The Kiwis are claiming a try to Ken Maumalo here. It looks like he may have just put it on the line. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves gets an offload and the Kiwis scramble the ball wide. There was one questionable tap, but it went backwards. The ball gets to Maumalo and he powers his way to the line.

4mins - Shaun Johnson makes a break down the wing before he's smashed to the ground, but the Kiwis have momentum right now. Can they set it up?

3mins - Great kick by Johnson and the Kiwi chases nearly trap Lomax in-goal, but the fullback gets out just in time.

2mins - A great first set from the hosts to counter the Kiwis attack.

1mins - England show their intent early with some strong tackles. The Kiwis get to the halfway line on the last, and Shaun Johnson kicks high, straight down the throat of Lomax.

KICK-OFF: We're underway in Leeds. Jonny Lomax kicks the ball off the tee to get us started.

4:22am - Now it is time for the haka.

4:19am - Both teams link arms for The Last Post and pause for a moments silence.

4:13am - Both Wayne Bennett and Michael Maguire lay a wreath before the anthems commence.

4:11am - Both teams walk out onto the field. England are wearing a special jersey for Armistice day.

4:05am - Very close to kick-off now. It may be later than usual as it is Armistice day in the UK, so there will be a moments silence before the match.

3:56am - If England beat the Kiwis, they would have trumped New Zealand four times in 2018.

3:50am - We're less than 30 minutes away from the match starting. The last time the Kiwis played in Leeds, they won the Tri-Nations final in 2005.

3:20am - The confirmed team sheet is below. Both teams are 1-17, but Tom Burgess will start instead of Chris Hill, who will come off the bench. Isaiah Papali'i will make his Kiwis debut off the bench.

Kia ora and welcome to live updates of the third and final test between the New Zealand Kiwis and England at Headingley Stadium in Leeds.
