Kia ora, and welcome to Newshub's live updates of the USA Eagles hosting the Māori All Blacks from Soldier Field in Chicago.

The match is the first of three for the Māori All Blacks on their tour of the Americas with matches against Brazil and Chile to follow.

Most of the Eagles team is filled with players not many New Zealanders are familiar with but there are a couple of names which may catch the eye of provincial rugby fans.

Former Hurricane Tony Lamborn will start at openside flanker, while North Harbour's Gannon Moore will make his test debut in the 13 jersey.

Last time these two teams played, the Māori All Blacks won 54-7.
