The New Zealand U17 women's football side will playoff for bronze at the FIFA U17 World Cup.
The next generation of Football Ferns were beaten 2-0 by European champions Spain in the semi-finals.
The performance has earned them the respect of a nation and New Zealand Football confirmed it would nominate them for Team of the Year at the annual Halberg Awards.
