Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder's final press conference descended into chaos, as they clashed three days out from their world heavyweight bout in Los Angeles on Sunday (NZ time).
Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) will defend his WBC heavyweight belt against Fury (27-0, 19 KOs) at the Staples Centre.
Tensions boiled over and the rivals had to be separated, after things got physical between the pair as their teams ushered them from the stage.
Wilder screamed obscenities, saying he was going to knock Fury out, as the Brit moved from side to side, appearing to dodge the American's verbal jabs.
Wilder then appeared to make contact with Fury's face to start the scuffle.
Fury ripped off his shirt, as if he was ready to fight there and then, but security intervened and things eventually calmed down.
The press conference took place on the three-year anniversary of Fury's world title-winning performance over Wladimir Klitschko and the timing wasn't lost on the Brit.
"It's my anniversary today. It's three years since I went to Germany and kicked Wladimir Klitschko's arse all over Dusseldorf, and I'll do the same to Deontay on Saturday.
"I'm here to do a job and enjoy myself, and I hope the boxing fans around the world are going to enjoy this fight as much as I will."
Wilder attacked the boxing credentials of Fury, who surrendered his WBO, WBA and IBF titles and spent time out of the sport with mental health issues.
"I was at the Olympics, I medalled," stated Wilder. "I've never seen him in the Olympics, I've never seen him medal.
"I've knocked out every fighter I've faced. Why hasn't he? Why is his ratio so low?
"He didn't beat Klitschko - Klitschko beat himself. If Klitschko had shown up and thrown more punches, he'd have won - everybody knows that.
"My numbers don't lie. I'm 40-0 with 39 KOs, you know the rest.
"I don't got to say it, I'm the best and I'm going to show you who's the best of the division."
