The first photo of Beauden Barrett's and Hannah Laity's wedding has been revealed.

The All Black superstar and his longtime partner tied the knot at Hurakia Lodge on Rakino Island, in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf, on Saturday.

The couple have been together for five years and engaged for the past 12 months, after Beauden popped the question, while holidaying in Fiji.

The first photo of the 'wedding of the year' graces the cover of this week's issue of Woman's Day.

"After great anticipation, Auckland turned on a magic day for the most opulent and stylish New Zealand celebrity wedding we've seen," said editor-in-chief Sido Kitchin.

"The sun shone bright, Rakino is beautiful and the venue so elegant - and Beauden and Hannah looked absolutely stunning, as they pledged their love and devotion to each other. It really was the happiest of days and I'm sure Woman's Day readers will relish the chance to share in the celebration.

"Beauden is one of the most-loved New Zealand sportsmen and has brought Kiwis such national pride with his incredible ability on the rugby field - but he's still a humble guy from Taranaki and I think that's why we love him.

"He appreciates the public interest in his wedding day from supporters and I'm thrilled he made the considered decision to share the happy occasion with Woman's Day readers."

More than 180 guests attended, including All Blacks Israel Dagg, Aaron Smith, Dane Coles, Brodie Retallick, Damian McKenzie and Sam Whitelock, as well as Barrett's brothers Scott and Jordie.

Barrett is currently going through pre-season preparations with the Hurricanes before the 2019 Super Rugby season.
