Canadian teenager Bianca Andreescu has continued her incredible run in the ASB Classic, taking out the number three seed Hsieh Su-wei to advance to the final.

The 18-year-old has already beaten Caroline Wozniacki and Venus Williams and now she can add the third seed from Chinese Taipei to her list of casualties.

She won the match 6-3 6-3 to advance to the final where she will meet last year's champion Julia Goerges.

The German made short work of her semi-final to beat Viktória Kužmová 6-1 7-6 and advance to the 2019 final.

The reigning champion took out the match in an hour 27 minutes.

Earlier, Kiwi Paige Hourigan is through to the doubles final with American Taylor Townsend after they beat number two seeds Kirsten Flipkens and Johanna Larsson 6-3 7-5.

The victory continues the pairs run of form, after never playing doubles together and needing a wildcard to make it to the main draw.
