The competition's ruling body, Lega Pro, said that Favarin was sent off against Alessandria on Monday (NZ time) for hurling insults and inviting one of his players to "crack the legs" of an opponent.
After his dismissal, Favarin then had an altercation with Alessandria assistant coach Gaetano Mancino, butting him violently on his head.
Mancino was handed a two-game ban for his insults to Favarin, whose ban stretches until June 30. Lucchese and Alessandria drew the match 2-2.
