Superbowl 2019: Dallas Cowboys receiver Allan Hurns suffers horrific leg injury

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Allan Hurns has been stretchered off the field, after suffering a gruesome lower leg injury against the Seattle Seahawks.

The 27-year-old hauled in a 14-yard pass from Dak Prescott and while getting tackled, his left foot bent in an entirely unnatural direction.

It was left pointing upward as he lay on his stomach and nearby players immediately motioned for the medical staff.

Players from both teams went to Hurns to offer their support, before he was stretchered off the field in tears. He raised his fist to the crowd as he was carted off, which drew huge applause.

Hurns is in his first season with the Cowboys, after spending his first four NFL seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He had 20 catches for 295 yards and two touchdowns during the regular season.
