The Blackcaps have switched to T20 mode, despite the fact a number of question marks remain over the make-up of their squad for this year's one-day World Cup.

It's a a fruitless exercise for some considering what's on in just four months, but not for the Blackcaps.

Captain Kane Williamson is counting the positives of a three-match Twenty20 series wedged in the middle of their World Cup build up.

"As a group we're wanting to get things right in terms of executing our plans. We want to make that step up a little bit"

The fans are welcoming a change of formats, with more than 20 thousand expected tomorrow at Westpac Stadium, while Friday's game at Eden Park is already sold out.
