Olivia Merry has scored both goals in the Black Sticks' 2-0 win over China in the FIH Pro League in Christchurch.
China dominated the early stages of the match, but they just couldn't find the goal.
Through an up-and-down first half, neither side could find the back of the net, but Cantabrian Merry scored in front of her home crowd just after half-time.
A crash ball from Rose Keddell found the 26-year-old alone in the circle and she made no mistake.
Merry secured her double just 25 minutes later, scoring from the spot, after umpire Michelle Joubert called for a penalty stroke.
The win was the Black Sticks' second in five matches in the tournament.
