NBA: Steven Adams caught swearing after referee's call

  • 13/02/2019

Kiwi Oklahoma City Thunder centre Steven Adams has been caught on camera dropping an 'f –bomb' in retaliation to a referee's call.

On Tuesday (NZ time), the 25-year-old was sent to the pine as he attempted to block a shot during his side's 120-111 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers and - after he'd heard the official's whistle - directed the query towards his teammates.

"What the f**ck did he just call?" Adams questioned as his teammates helped him to his feet.

Adams finished the game with an uncharacteristically quiet stat line of nine points and just two rebounds against the visiting Blazers.

But his teammates shouldered the load, Russell Westbrook setting an NBA record with his 10th straight triple-double and the unstoppable Paul George pouring in 47 points.
