Biography:

Yadav began his cricketing life as a fast-bowler, until a coach at academy level recommended he adapt to a slower style to better suit his frame.

It ultimately proved a masterstroke, as Yadav developed into one of the most effective slow bowlers in world cricket.

He began his international career with India in the test format, becoming the first chinaman bowler to take four wickets on debut in 2017.

After cracking the ODI team, Yadav starred in the 2018 series against England, rabbed his maiden five-wicket haul in an ODI and also set a new record for registering the best bowling figures by a chinaman bowler in the 50-over format (6/25).

He's currently ranked seventh on the ICC's world rankings for ODI bowlers.
