At the age of 16, Mujeeb became the first player born in the 21st century to play international cricket and two months later, he became the youngest to take an ODI five-wicket bag.

Played in the Afghanistan's first-ever test against India, which was also his first-class debut.

Mujeeb is currently eighth on ICC world bowling rankings.
