First minute: Chiefs 0 Jaguares 0

Pre-game: So the Blues' win overnight means they have passed the Highlanders for third in the NZ conference and put some distance on the Chiefs, languishing at the bottom.

But the Chiefs can catch the southerners with a bonus-point win here - the Blues have had a mortgage on the wooden spoon in recent seasons and these two teams have enjoyed title success during that time.

They won't want to finish at the bottom.

Nathan Harris lines up for his 50th game for the Chiefs today.
