Flying Fijian winger Sevu Reece will make his first Super Rugby start for the Crusaders when they take on the Chiefs in Christchurch on Saturday.

The 22-year-old will make his debut in place of resting All Blacks George Bridge, with Braydon Ennor switching to the left wing.

The Waikato stand-out was picked up by the Crusaders after being cut by Irish club Connacht following his appearance in the Hamilton District Court on one count of male assaults female, an incident involving his girlfriend in July last year.

Halfback Ereatara Enari will make his first start, as will lock Mitchell Dunshea and flanker Billy Harmon.

Prop Owen Franks and flanker Matt Todd will both sit out on an All Blacks rest week.
