Super Rugby tipping competition, week seven

Could there be a scandal on the horizon?

Super Rugby tipster Andrew Gourdie has thrown shade on his fellow punters, claiming there is widespread collusion to ensure his failure.

Gourdie, outspoken at the best of times, was not a happy chappy this week when our punters were happily comparing their picks around the office.

He may well have a point.

The commissioner has noticed Ollie Ritchie and Ross Karl leaving the office for 'coffee runs' at least once a day and given their intense desire to top Newshub's sport presenter, their ultimate goal may be to unsettle and intimidate.

We shall see how it all plays out this week with three interesting fixtures.

Given all five of our punters went one from four last weekend, a return to tipping form could swing the standings come next week.

And there are some differing opinions on how this week will fly with only two of our tipsters picking the same results.

The rules are simple:

Pick the winner and margin of any Super Rugby game involving a New Zealand franchise, with points awarded in the following manner:

Pick the winner and margin (13-plus or 12-under) = three points.

Pick the winner only = one point.

Pick all results correctly including margin: five bonus points.

Super Rugby week seven:

Crusaders vs Hurricanes, Blues vs Stormers, Jaguares vs Chiefs

*Margin is based on the classic 12-under or 13-plus format.
