Boxing: Anthony Joshua aims brutal verbal knockout at Jarrell Miller

Heavyweight boxing kingpin Anthony Joshua has fired a few verbal jabs at Jarrell Miller, following their cancelled championship fight.

The two sluggers were scheduled to meet in May, in New York, but the undefeated Miller failed a drugs test last week. Miller was removed from the bout and copped a suspension.

Joshua will now defend his WBA, IBF and WBO titles against an opponent yet to be named.

In February, a heated Joshua retorted: "Where's your mum? You're lucky I pay her rent now, you should bow to me when you see me."

In his latest Youtube update, Joshua added salt to Miller's wound by continuing that line of attack.

"And by the way, I still love you," Joshua said to Miller's mother. "If there's anything I can do for you, just let me know.

"I'm a man of my word, Jarrell, I'll still pay your mum's rent."

As for who Joshua will share the ring with at Madison Square Garden, Joshua confirmed to fans that a decision would be made in the next few days, but he promised to deliver a showcase performance for his first fight in the United States.

"[Promoter Eddie Hearn] is doing the negotiations, he's having the conversations. Hopefully, it'll be in the next 48-72 hours, we'll have an update.

"I keep my head down and try to stay out of trouble - that's the best thing I can do and deliver in the ring.

"June 1 [US time], MSG, it's still going down. The landlord will still come and collect his rent."

American Michael Hunter is hotly tipped to earn the call-up, ahead of Luis Ortiz, Andy Ruiz Jr and Kubrat Pulev.
