Kiwi IndyCar driver Scott Dixon has finished second at the latest round at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama on Monday (NZ time).
The 38-year-old finished behind Japan's Takuma Sato, who cashed in on his pole position to claim the chequered flag in the 90-lap race.

Dixon started from third and improved one place, after rival Graham Rahal's car had electrical problems.
But he was unable to catch Sato, who led 74 of the 90 laps to capture his fourth series win in his 10th season.
The result moves Dixon up to second in the overall standings after three races, 27 points behind American Josef Newgarden.
Dixon finished second in the opening race of the season and had a 13th-place finish in the second round in Texas.
The next race is the Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 15.
