Durant's Warriors will move on to the second round of the Western Conference playoffs, beating the Clippers 4-2 in a best of seven series.
The former MVP scored 38 points in the first half to help his Golden State Warriors to a 72-53 lead at half-time.
Durant finished the game with 50 points - a career high in the playoffs for him.
The 30-year-old had six rebounds and five assists to go with his 50 points.
Draymond Green recorded a triple-double scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.
The Warriors will face the Houston Rockets in the next round - a repeat of last year's conference finals.
