NRL 2019: Gerard Beale replaces the injured David Fusitu'a for Warriors v Storm ANZAC clash

Gerard Beale will fill the boots of the injured David Fusitu'a for the NZ Warriors' ANZAC Day clash with Melbourne on Thursday.

The utility back has slotted in at centre the last two weeks with Blake Green on the shelf, but he will wear the number two jersey against the Storm.

Peta Hiku will move back to the centres with the return of a now fit Green, who has recovered from a groin injury.

Fusitu'a suffered a rib injury during the Warriors 17-10 loss at the hands of the North Queensland Cowboys last weekend.

Green's inclusion marks the only change to the starting side that came up short on Saturday night.

There are murmurings that captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is carrying an injury, rumours fuelled by the inclusion of both Hayze Perham and Patrick Herbert on an extended bench.

The Warriors face an uphill task against a Storm side hurting from their first loss of the season against the Sydney Roosters.

The 2018 Grand Finalists still head the field on points differential while the New Zealand side are languishing in 10th spot, two points outside the playoff spots.
