Sky Sports reporter Kelly Cates has exacted some revenge over her colleagues after they left her awkwardly stranded on live TV last week.
Following coverage of a Premier League fixture between Southampton and Liverpool, fellow pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher comically walked away from Cates in a bizarre and widely criticised move.
Cates put the gaffe down to a production error, but that didn’t save it from being lambasted as disrespectful on social media.
On Tuesday (NZ time) the Sky Sports UK crew conspired with Cates to return the favour.
After Leicester's defeat to Newcastle, Cates swiftly turned her back on the pair, making a march down the sideline sporting a sly and satisfied smirk.
"Wednesday, seven o'clock on Sky Sports Premier League," Cates said, promoting the upcoming Manchester derby. "Don't you dare turn your back".
The 43-year-old tweeted out the clip shortly after, simply saying "Looking forward to this".
