Football: Kiwi Sarai Bareman revolutionalising world of FIFA

When Massey High School girl Sarai Bareman decided to sign up for the school's football team, she had no idea it would one day help her change the world.

Because almost 20 years later, she looks back on an illustrious career in the sport, from an international player to becoming the FIFA chief women's football officer.

As the head of the division, Bareman is working on modernising the organisation,  bringing light to women's football and increasing diversity in the typically male-dominated field.

She has been touring the world, promoting the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, and she spoke to The AM Show.
