The Golden State Warriors are heading to their fifth straight NBA Finals after sweeping the Portland Trail Blazers.

Led by star guard Steph Curry, the two-time defending champions produced another second-half comeback, eventually scoring a 119-117 overtime win in game four.

Curry played the final 29-minutes without a rest, finishing with 37 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists to end the series with an average haul of 36.5 points across the four games.

The Trail Blazers had to chances to win the game, the first in regulation when Damian Lillard's lob shot bounced twice off the iron with time up.

Then, with three seconds to play on overtime, Lillard's desperation three-pointer fell short putting an end to Portland's playoff run.

The two-point loss added to a series of what-ifs for Portland, as the Blazers blew a 17-point second half lead.

Previously, Golden State erased 17 and 18-point deficits in games two and three to win.

Centre Meyers Leonard, making his second start of the playoffs, had a career-high for Portland with 30 points and 12 rebounds. Lillard finished with 28 points and 12 assists, while fellow guard C.J. McCollum scored 26 points.

The Warriors now await the Eastern Conference champions, with the Milwaukee Bucks currently holding a 2-1 series lead over the Toronto Raptors.
