Hurricanes hooker Dane Coles' tenure on the sideline seems to be over, being named to start for his Wellington club this weekend.
The 32-year-old will line up for Poneke Football Club as they take on Petone on Saturday.
Coles has been son the shelf with a calf injury since mid-March, but will play for his club while the Hurricanes are on their bye week.
The calf injury is the latest in a run of injuries over the past few years, including concussion, achilles and knee troubles.
The Hurricanes have the bye this week and will face the Sharks, Lions and Blues in the final three rounds, as they prepare for the playoffs.
They are guaranteed to stay fourth on the Super Rugby table regardless of this weekend's results.
