The Blackcaps will go with an unchanged side for Thursday's (NZT) Cricket World Cup clash with Bangladesh in London.

That means Matt Henry and Colin Munro will get another chance to stake a claim for regular spots, after impressing in the opening win over Sri Lanka.

Injured Tim Southee and Henry Nicholls remain day-to-day prospects, but Blackcaps wicketkeeper Tom Latham confirmed the pair would not be risked at The Oval.

"It's a long tournament, so it's important to make sure the guys are 100 percent fully fit by the time they get back on the park," Latham said.

Despite the duo improving, the selection was made easier after the strong showings Henry and Munro put in in Cardiff.

Munro hit an unbeaten 58 runs, while Henry collected three wickets.

"The way we played in the last game bodes a lot of confidence for the group," Latham said.

"The way the bowlers went about things, they challenged Sri Lanka from ball one and I'm sure the same side is looking to hopefully repeat that."

New Zealand began their training session outdoors at The Oval, before rain forced them to resume in the indoor nets.

The rain is expected to clear, with dry conditions forecast come game-time.

Blackcaps to face Bangladesh: Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Tom Latham, Jimmy Neesham, Colin de Grandhomme Mitchell Santner, Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult.
