A battered and bruised Golden State have pulled off a comeback victory against Toronto to even the NBA Finals series 1-1, winning game two 109-104 on Monday (NZT).
Golden State were in dire straits in the first half when they trailed by 12 points, their star point guard Steph Curry was battling an illness, forward Andre Iguodala rolled an ankle, back-up centre Kevon Looney suffered a bruised shoulder and the Raptors were offensively and defensively superior.
The hosts held a 59-54 half-time lead, but after the break the Warriors scored the first 18 points.
Their injury woes however continued in the second-half with their other All- Star guard, Klay Thompson, limping off the court with a hamstring injury.
The Raptors trailed by two points with 26 seconds to go after a Danny Green three-pointer but Iguodala sealed the victory with a final three-pointer.
Curry, who missed his first six shots, had 23 points.
The Raptors were led by Kawhi Leonard's 34 points.
Game three is in Oakland on Wednesday.
